"Consider Replacing Your Battery" Issue in Windows 7 Professional RTM

I have Acer Aspire 7515z. I using windows 7 RTM. Now it is showing a cross icon on battery saying that "Consider replacing your battery" as my battery is giving the same performance. I disabled the Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Battery Method, it vanished the icon but didn't extended my battery's life. I re-installed windows but same issue is occuring. Help me to sort out this issue. thanks

Can't even find a 7515z in the Acer list!!

It could be that the battery in the laptop is not in good condition and Windows is telling you this, so do NOT turn off the warnings..

    Taken from the post that appeared to fix the problem..

    1. Charge the battery completely
    2. Start using laptop on battery and unplug the charger
    3. Use the laptop until it automatically shut down itself.
    4. Charge the battery again and run the POWERCFG -ENERGY
    5. Check the last full charge reading.
    6. Perform these steps until your last full charge crosses the 40% of the design capacity..

    i tried it day before yesterday... it increases from 33.8% to 41%   but now again it decreased to   33.4%...

    why this happened.... plz rply ....

    i tried 2 times.... it again crossed 40% then... after 1 day it  again decreased  to 32%....
