"Consider Replacing Your Battery" Issue in Windows 7 Professional RTM

I have Acer Aspire 7515z. I using windows 7 RTM. Now it is showing a cross icon on battery saying that "Consider replacing your battery" as my battery is giving the same performance. I disabled the Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Battery Method, it vanished the icon but didn't extended my battery's life. I re-installed windows but same issue is occuring. Help me to sort out this issue. thanks

Can't even find a 7515z in the Acer list!!

It could be that the battery in the laptop is not in good condition and Windows is telling you this, so do NOT turn off the warnings..

    I have the same issue with my Toshiba laptop. My laptop battery was in good shape, then within two weeks of installing Windows 7 it was dead.

    It appears to be an issue with Acer, Toshiba and some HP laptops and Windows 7. The answer back to everyone is replace your battery, but from the research I done for the last two weeks the issue is Windows 7 not our machines.

    I have officially solved this problem,

    1. Flip your laptop sideways in a smooth fashion (fast but not too fast) while the charger is plugged in

    (lift your laptop slightly in the air and hold the left side and push it upwards to the right direction and smoothly push it back and down)

    The errors and inconvenient messages will instantly dissapear!

    Try it yourself, maybe try more than once if it doesn't work, I'm running a HP Pavillion and it fixed it.

    Dear BoB,

    Thanks for your attention towards this issue but the problem is still there as i followed your procedure and it didn't worked at all. It had tried again. If u upload a video in youtube with the title name " Resolving the Consider replacing your battery issue" for the actions performed in order to resolve this issue might help us. Waiting fora sooner and positive response from your kind side.

    P.S.P my laptop model is Acer Aspire 5715z.... not 7515z ;)

    Dear MuNNa1988, Try taking out your battery and waiting 10 seconds, putting it back in, then allow your laptop to boot up sideways, or even upside down if you can't take this any longer, allowing the battery to tilt while the OS configures memory may allow you to resolve this issue. Since you have a smaller type of a laptop, try tilting it around, don't worry about harddrive spill, as long as you don't have anything running in the background doing anything intensively.
