Hello,

My computer is stuggling to get internet access, I keep getting this message - Your computer appears to be correctly configured, but the device or resource (DNS server) is not responding). All of the other computers in my house are connected with no difficulty. Any suggestions?

I resolved the problem. When my router lost power, somehow the addresses got changed so the IP address of the wireless Dell computer no longer fell in the pool of addresses maintained by the router. When I reconfigured by router and had released and renewed my IP address on the Dell computer, everything started working again.

I have tried both these methods and my wireless connection still fails to work and the W7 troubleshooter didnt help a single bit. I can connect through an enet cable and i can connect through a wireless connection at a local game shop but not at home. is there any other solution i might be able to try or should i just go buy a new router?
