Only with IPv6 DNS? Otherwise you could use nslookup to find if there is an IPv4 address to use, then use ping -n 1 -w 1 -4 with its
canonical host to get it cached. Then IE would most likely find the IPv4 address and use it.

Note the Time To Live value associated with the cached records. They show you the number of seconds that you would have to try to get IE to take advantage of your cached records.
