Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) is apperaing in WIN 7 too. I can only use my computer in Safe Mode with Networking. I have several minidump files but how do I use them with WinDbg utility. Also how do I load and verify the symbols. Does anyone have Microsoft support 1800 number? Thanks.

I have updated the Adobe software and run Driver Verifier, but it is still crashing....several times today. The drivers for VIA audio and motherboard are already up to date. Whats mcdbus.sys? In one case, mcdbus.sys was caught by verifier, trying to do something that would result in corruption. That driver seems to be related to MagicISO software. If you have such software installed, uninstall it.
Three other crashes were caused by memory corruption; verifier was not enabled at the time of these crashes.
Two other crashes were caused when verifier detected that atdcm64a.sys, from ATI, was caught giving a PNP IRP an invalid status. Check for updates to this driver as well.
Also - check for updates to your Asus motherboard drivers.
I take it the system didn't come with Windows 7 - did you run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor?
Yes. I had windows vista first then I clean installed Win 7 x64. I get the crash right when I try to uninstall ATI Catalyst Control Center (CCC). I tried to uninstall from the safe mode but it showed an error "not a win 32 application" and "cant run in safe mode. uninstall in normal mode." I have also disabled it in the msconfig services but no luck. How could I remove CCC without getting a crash. Should I disable MagicISO in msconfig or uninstall? The Asus mb and vga drivers are up to date also.
Uninstall MagicISO first, then try to uninstall CCC - see if that changes the outcome.
The newest ASUS drivers may not be enough, then - the driver ASACPI.SYS is from some months before Windows 7 hit RTM, so there is little chance the code was tested with the shipping Windows 7 product.
I have uninstalled MagicISO and tried to uninstall CCC but it didnt work. So I will I have disabled everything in msconfig right now. Then I will enable tomorrow morning one software and so on. I am uploading the dumps from today also.
