Blue Screen error in Windows 7, only able to use computer in Safe Mode with networking

Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) is apperaing in WIN 7 too. I can only use my computer in Safe Mode with Networking. I have several minidump files but how do I use them with WinDbg utility. Also how do I load and verify the symbols. Does anyone have Microsoft support 1800 number? Thanks.

    When I disabled Alcohol in msconfig.exe a week ago, it must have uninstalled SPTD too. Yesterday when I had enabled Alcohol , Alcohol is not running. I have also downloaded the SPTD installation file from the website you mentioned and run it. I hit Install and reboot. But SPTD is not being installed because when I re-run that file again it says "No SPTD version was detected." THen I hit Install and reboot and it starts all over again. How do I install SPTD so I can run Alcohol and test it? Or how do I remove SPTD from the system so I can reinstall it. I also checked in the regedit.exe Start Value which is zero which is good.

    Still no crash. I ll enable for Alcohol now.

    I would uninstall both.

    However you could hold off and see if any more BSODs occur with McAfee uninstalled.

    Should I uninstall SPTD without uninstalling Alcohol? Its been 27 hours and it hasn't crashed since. I will let it run till tomorrow morning just to make sure. THen I will test on Alchol

    There is some information on SPTD in the following link:

    It basically helps Alcohol or similar application work better.

    Please be aware that if you do uninstall Alcohol it will not uninstall SPTD. To uninstall SPTD see "How can I remove SPTD driver on 64-bit OS?" in the above link.

    I don't believe you should have to go back to XP. It may just be getting the right drivers or combination of drivers the work with Windows 7 64-bit.

    If after uninstalling you get any more BSODs please provide the minidump files.
