Suddenly all my desktop icons have green check marks on them.  What does it mean?  How do I fix them?

Hi,

Do you use norton 360? Norton -> Settings -> Backup Settings -> Backup Status Overlays -> OFF -> Apply.  After you run your next backup (you can do it manually) the check marks will disappear.

Hope this helps.

    *** "Verizon Cloud" ***

For those who found no solutions listed in this section..... this might be helpful!

If you have Verizon as your cell phone carrier and you loaded a program on your PC called "Verizon Cloud" try this:

    1) Run the "Verizon Cloud" program you have installed on your PC.

    2) Click on "Backup" in the upper gray bar

    3) Look for "Desktop" in the section below and click "Stop Backup" to the right of it.

    4) Check marks are gone!

(Check marks indicate what items from your computer will be backed up to the Verizon cloud.)

Hope this helps some of you!!!!!
