I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit. How do I change the font color that describes the desktop icons?

Hi

You cannot change the Desktop font color.

Because Desktop wallpaper images have varying colors, it is easy for the font colors to be unreadable if they are on top of the same color as a wallpaper image. For instance a black font on top of a dark part of the background image or a white font on a white part of a background image.

The Desktop icon fonts are dynamic and will show white on dark backgrounds and change to white with a black shadow effect on a light background.

    Did you make that account to post that comment as you made the account the same day... or were you looking to just attempt to troll on a forum?

    We can see you're not in IT did it ever occur to you that your IT team make sure the image is suitable before they change it for you?

    I believe this is not true at all, well that you know what your talking about. I can be arrogant too. you use solid color backgrounds like a noob you don't know that when there is yellow and other colors involved text reading gets difficult.

    Ronnie,

    You just had the nerve to tell EVERYONE that comes to this topic BECAUSE THEY ARE HAVING TROUBLE READING THEIR ICON TEXT that the problem they're having doesn't exist.

    Do you not realize how arrogant that is? I use a photo as my desktop and the wonderful logic you claim is perfect can't handle it and I can't read the text.  However there is no yellow in the photo and yellow text would pop.

    I believe it's not true at all. My company often changes the desktop background image, and when the image have a white background we cannot see icon labels unless we activate shadows on the visual effects option, under the performance tab.
