I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit. How do I change the font color that describes the desktop icons?

Hi

You cannot change the Desktop font color.

Because Desktop wallpaper images have varying colors, it is easy for the font colors to be unreadable if they are on top of the same color as a wallpaper image. For instance a black font on top of a dark part of the background image or a white font on a white part of a background image.

The Desktop icon fonts are dynamic and will show white on dark backgrounds and change to white with a black shadow effect on a light background.

    This was worse than useless. If I read this correctly. it is saying: "We'll tell you what we will and will not let you do. Your 

    wishes are of no concern to us. If you don't like it, get an Apple Computer...we don't care. We rule the Earth!" Well, the next computer I buy WILL be an Apple...I'm sick, sore and tired of being told: "We know what's best for you...don't argue,  just buy the next version of windows."  That would be Windows 3451 (the Beta  version...all previous versions of Windows will self destruct, just to keep Microsoft (AKA "Big Brother") in business. The 39 people who found this "helpful" must be the village idiots who forgot to take their pills that day.

    Hi

    We have documented this behavior before and  unfortunately, the font will probably revert back to the default behavior.
