HI I NEED TO REINSTALL WINDOWS INSTALLER ON WINDOWS 7 BUT I CANNOT FIND A DOWNLOAD FOR IT  .I SEE FIXES FOR VISTA XP ETC BUT NOTHING FOR 7

Click Start

Type: CMD, from the results, right click CMD

Click 'Run as Administrator'

At the Command Prompt, type: sfc/scannow

This will check for any integrity violations

Restart your system

  1. Insert the Windows 7 DVD
  2. Restart your computer
  3. When asked if you want to boot from your DVD drive, do so.
  4. Choose your language, click Next.
  5. Click 'Repair your computer'
  6. Select operating system you want to repair.

    This procedure does not WORK, usual for Microsoft stuff.

    If you try to use the Windows 7 DVD the only option you have beside language is to INSTALL I TRY. I recover from the piece of CRAPP Windows 10 and several of the application are not recover, windows Installer, Windows Management etc. It suck. Please Microsoft keep you junk for yourself and leave my PC alone......

    I totally agree and like to add Microsoft really screw up thank but no thank it is time to buy Apple.

    Sad to say that this failed to work with Apple itunes. I guess that I will need to live without backing up my iphone to this computer or using icloud or any of the Apple products on this computer. Itunes used to work but when I had trouble recognizing my old iphone on the computer, the W7 instructions, i uninstalled it, then was unable to reinstall. oh well
