WARNING!!! I followed a post from a Microsoft moderator and ended up, I believe, -
http://support.microsoft.com/mats/Program\_Install\_and\_Uninstall DON'T CLICK ON "RUN". Next I was asked to upgrade my Chrome Video Player, which I should have known was a trick. Next thing I knew about sixteen malicious programs downloaded and took over
my computer. It hijacked my browser, my email, my Facebook, pretty well everything. It took me four hours to remove all the malicious programs. Some even had to nerve to ask me for a captcha before they would remove. Even after removing all of these programs
I was still left with two files that would not remove. When I rebooted these files started installing everything all over again. Also I have
Microsoft Security Essentials running and it didn't catch a thing. On my last reboot my computer froze after Starting Windows and my screen was blank. I had no choice but to run a restore, which thankfully, I hope, worked. I've had a couple of attacks
over the years but this one wins the prize for most malicious.
