Need to Reinstall Windows Installer in Windows 7

HI I NEED TO REINSTALL WINDOWS INSTALLER ON WINDOWS 7 BUT I CANNOT FIND A DOWNLOAD FOR IT  .I SEE FIXES FOR VISTA XP ETC BUT NOTHING FOR 7

Click Start

Type: CMD, from the results, right click CMD

Click 'Run as Administrator'

At the Command Prompt, type: sfc/scannow

This will check for any integrity violations

Restart your system

  1. Insert the Windows 7 DVD
  2. Restart your computer
  3. When asked if you want to boot from your DVD drive, do so.
  4. Choose your language, click Next.
  5. Click 'Repair your computer'
  6. Select operating system you want to repair.

    WARNING!!! I followed a post from a Microsoft moderator and ended up, I believe, -

    http://support.microsoft.com/mats/Program\_Install\_and\_Uninstall DON'T CLICK  ON "RUN". Next I was asked to upgrade my Chrome Video Player, which I should have known was a trick. Next thing I knew about sixteen malicious programs downloaded and took over my computer. It hijacked my browser, my email, my Facebook, pretty well everything. It took me four hours to remove all the malicious programs. Some even had to nerve to ask me for a captcha before they would remove. Even after removing all of these programs I was still left with two files that would not remove. When I rebooted these files started installing everything all over again. Also I have Microsoft Security Essentials running and it didn't catch a thing. On my last reboot my computer froze after Starting Windows and my screen was blank. I had no choice but to run a restore, which thankfully, I hope, worked. I've had a couple of attacks over the years but this one wins the prize for most malicious.
