HI I NEED TO REINSTALL WINDOWS INSTALLER ON WINDOWS 7 BUT I CANNOT FIND A DOWNLOAD FOR IT  .I SEE FIXES FOR VISTA XP ETC BUT NOTHING FOR 7

Click Start

Type: CMD, from the results, right click CMD

Click 'Run as Administrator'

At the Command Prompt, type: sfc/scannow

This will check for any integrity violations

Restart your system

  1. Insert the Windows 7 DVD
  2. Restart your computer
  3. When asked if you want to boot from your DVD drive, do so.
  4. Choose your language, click Next.
  5. Click 'Repair your computer'
  6. Select operating system you want to repair.

    Hey.. Are misunder standing something..

    I dont think we need to repaire the OS for fixing windows installer.

    we can simply reinstall or get newer version of windows installer.

    I have a similar problem as first mentioned above. However, I do not have the windows 7 disk (it already came installed on the new laptop that i just purchased). What can I do? I can't uninstall anything, and I have problems downloading itunes where I get the message that "windows installer could not be accessed". when i try to search for this program under start-->search, nothing comes up. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
