Need to Reinstall Windows Installer in Windows 7

HI I NEED TO REINSTALL WINDOWS INSTALLER ON WINDOWS 7 BUT I CANNOT FIND A DOWNLOAD FOR IT  .I SEE FIXES FOR VISTA XP ETC BUT NOTHING FOR 7

Click Start

Type: CMD, from the results, right click CMD

Click 'Run as Administrator'

At the Command Prompt, type: sfc/scannow

This will check for any integrity violations

Restart your system

  1. Insert the Windows 7 DVD
  2. Restart your computer
  3. When asked if you want to boot from your DVD drive, do so.
  4. Choose your language, click Next.
  5. Click 'Repair your computer'
  6. Select operating system you want to repair.

    1. type services.msc in windows and locate windows installer in it. if it is manual you have to change it to automatic. then start the service. it has helped me. 
    2. also type cmd in search bar and run it as administrator. 

    type "sfc /scannow" without quotes.

    I've checked everywhere, with no luck. I find it hard to believe that a virus representing itself as Microsoft doesn't get a little more attention. Even searching all of support I couldn't find a single mention of the Windows Installer virus, even though it is very common. What isn't common are the solutions all over the internet to do different things. Some even suggest modifying registry entries, which can be disastrous.

    First, Microsoft Security Essentials didn't stop it. Defender still can't find it even though it's there.
