Oh, that's exactly what you went on to say, sorry.
What mindless idiots populate Microsoft. Only one person buried in the stinky bowels of the company (who has probably moved on) might actually know what is wrong and everybody else is simply guessing quite authoritatively and having no real clue whatsoever.
Find that guy for ****'s sake and quit tossing us mindless guesses!
I'll be happy to let anyone at MS (well, maybe not just anyone given the skill shown so far) take the reigns of my computer remotely and figure this out for the hundreds if not thousands who are stuck behind it. You require .NET and can't figure out how to
let us install it. Amazing.
I have spent a week on this doing nothing else but pouring through the page after page that Google can rustle up on the problem, trying everything I find to no avail and all I encounter is Microsoft's utter incompetence and customer's utter frustration.
Failure is imminent, people. Get your resume's out there before the rush. Don't think it can happen? Remember DEC. Come to think of it no one at Microsoft below director was probably born when that sudden and shocking large scale collapse occurred. The parallels
are greater than you could know.
