Print Spooler wont start windows 7 error 1053

I am trying to install a printer on windows 7 but the print spooler wont start so i can't install

I have accessed the services.msc menu and tried to manually restart the spooler it is at this point that it i get the error msg:

 Error 1053 Did not respond in timely manner etc . I have tried a computer restart but to no avail.

What should I do as i have no printing capacity but i do have scanning??

The registry key seems OK.

Can you run the system file checker to check for system file corruption - follow Option 1 in the folliwng link:

A system restore will not work in this situation as the printer never worked.

    "Kan de afdrukspooler niet starten omdat de PrinterBusEnumerator niet kan worden gestart. Foutcode 0xd. Deze fout kan optreden vanwege systeeminstabiliteit of een tekort aan systeembronnen." --> Can not start the print spooler, because PrinterBusEnumerator can not be started. Errorcode 0xd. This error can occur, because of systeminstability or a shortage of systemsources.

    What is the PrinterBusEnumerator? And what can i try?

    Can you go here?:

    Device Manager > View > Show hidden devices > then expand "System devices".

    Under "System devices", are there two entries for "UMBus Enumerator"?

    Yes, I managed to get there.

    "UMBus Enumerator" is displayed and works correctly, but only one entry.

    There is another entry, which is named "UMBus Root Bus Enumerator", also one entry and working correctly.

    There should be two "UMBus Enumerator" entries as well as the  "UMBus Root Bus Enumerator".

    Can you take a look this way:

    Device Manager > View > Show hidden devices  > View > Devices by connection

    Then expand "UMBus Enumerator".

    What is listed under  "UMBus Enumerator"?
