I recently encountered this duplicate message downloading as a SINGLE EVENT, when Verizon.net recently changed servers, and sent instructions for "migration" over to their latest set-up. Current messages are NOT duplicating, however, absolutely EVERYTHING
previous to my migration, is now duplicated in my inbox! Arrrrgggghhhh....
Is there any quick way to either scan &/or delete JUST THE EXISTING DUPLICATES in my desktop inbox folder at this time?
Manually, onesy-twosy doing it, is a royal PIA (I had like 6k total stored messages ...now 12k with EVERYTHING previous to last month "duplicate" as a result - remember current emails are NOT duplicating) - and it just is well... plain annoying (and space
wasting) is all.
TIA for any suggestions or directions to (even an aftermarket/plug-in scanning/de-duper) tool.
Cheers,
-Grant
