Why does Windows 7 have typing problems?

When i type on the internet or on games, I often open new tabs or open other problems, simply by typing.  Sometimes what I'm typing will get erased, filled in with something else, or just won't get typed at all.  I was told this is a Windows 7 bug.

    Im pretty sure i already posted this in the thread, but as lots of people just skip to the last page might as well repeat myself.

    the issue is caused by sensitivity in the touchpad.You can try turning the sensitivity down but that doesnt always work so the best solution is to :

    Just install touchfreeze. Its a free program that automatically disables the touchpad when you start typing and then re-enables when you stop. heres link explaining the Cursor Jumping issue and it contains a link to the free program touchfreeze

    Have you checked the function key?

    most laptops or netbooks have a function key that activates shortcuts on a keypress, when activated a single key press for example can launch Internet Explorer.

    Same here it’s really starting to bug me.Oh and i have a sony vaio VPCEB1M0E.LOL Its typing over what i am tyring now -.- .

    Hello all,

    For those of you experiencing issues with typing in Windows 7, I would advise you to check your computer manufacturer's support web site for updated drivers for your laptop touchpad or for your keyboard and mouse.

    If you are unable to locate any, I would then look for a function key or button on your laptop that will temporarily disable the touchpad while you are typing.

    If you are still experiencing issues with this after trying both of those troubleshooting methods, I would advise you to start a new thread at this location:
