Why does Windows 7 have typing problems?

When i type on the internet or on games, I often open new tabs or open other problems, simply by typing. Sometimes what I'm typing will get erased, filled in with something else, or just won't get typed at all. I was told this is a Windows 7 bug.

2010-09-14T20:52:43+00:00 I changed from XP, where you can go into control panel, select mouse in hardware, and then check a little box that allows you to disable the touch-pad during typing. This box is not there on Vista or Windows 7, and on both I suffered this infuriating jumping from place to place, as I typed. Downloading the little free Touchfreeze program eliminated the problem. It does the same job, automatically, in the background. The relief is heaven! I hope it works for you all!

It is likely that you are accidentally hitting the touchpad with your
hand while typing. Install a mouse and turn off the touchpad.
