I have an icon in the lower right tray that says Intel RST Service is not running. What does this mean, do I need to fix it and how do I fix it?

That service is described here: http://www.intel.com/products/desktop/chipsets/Q57/Q57-overview.htm about halfway down the page. It's not essential, but the most likely fix if you do have additional drives is to reload the sata driver from Intel most appropriate to your chipset.

where do I find TASK MANAGEMENT ?
There is no area that says, "Intel Rapid Storage Technology" in the Task Manager. This information was not helpful to me either.
That worked also for me @factinvest.. I typed " services" in the search bar, it brings up the service menu, go down to Intel rapid storage technology highlight and use the start service button on the taskbar of the service menu.
