I have an icon in the lower right tray that says Intel RST Service is not running. What does this mean, do I need to fix it and how do I fix it?

That service is described here: http://www.intel.com/products/desktop/chipsets/Q57/Q57-overview.htm about halfway down the page. It's not essential, but the most likely fix if you do have additional drives is to reload the sata driver from Intel most appropriate to your chipset.

Under services my task manager shows 'delayed start' instead of 'automatic'. Not sure how to change that. None of this was ever a problem until I upgraded to Windows 10, hated it, and restored Windows 7. Now I'm having nothing but mass computer issues and have no idea how to solve any of them. I'm also getting 'failed to connect to system event notification service' if anyone knows what the heck that means.
Charles - Can you do a system restore to point in time prior to uninstall?
I have had the same problem for 6 months, and my window 7 home premium x64 has performed just fine. but, I am not hip to computer workings (not like this), but I can get around. but tonight, I went to control panel, highlited itel rst and went to click repair, and hit uninstall. I could not react fast enough to stop this, and now, mr. I can fix it is left swimming in his own stupidly. is there any hope of repair? thank you for your time and efforts!
