Nope - this is wrong - it is only available as a non-installed component on Enterprise versions of Windows 7. As you can see from this screenshot is NOT available on Professional:

I have upgraded from XP to Windows 7 Professional. I used Windows Services for Unix in XP but have been informed this is not available for Windows 7. I do not see a NFS Client in the Windows 7 Professional version. What options are there?

2011-10-31T22:53:12+00:00 Ultimate and Enterprise versions have the NFS services, I don't think Professional or any of the home version do.
I have to say, this is quite irritating - especially considering Dell, for example, does not sell "Enterprise" bundled with their laptops. We purchase Professional, as I don't need to have consultants watching the media center with Ultimate :)
