Dual Monitor blacks out the second monitor in locked mode

Hi There,

We work in support environment and use dual monitors setup. WIN7 heard to have very good support for such setup and easy to use functionalities. However at some point something which was great has gone troubled.

We can use both the monitors while working on it however just the time its locked it blacks out the second monitor background and screensavers set if any. I tried looking for any config changes but in vain. Looking out for answer to this here.

There is no built in way to change this functionality. **When locked, one screen will be black.**There may be some 3rd party software that may do this however it would not be supported by  Microsoft.

    This still isn't fixed in the early release of Windows 8. They changed the login/lock screen drastically, but it is still only on one monitor. It is sad that they didn't listen.

    WarrenMC1,

    You're not reading carefully enough.  We don't want the user's background to display on both monitors.  We want the Logon Background that's stored in c:\Windows\System32\oobe\info\backgrounds\ to display on both monitors when the computer is locked, at the logon screen, or when CTRL+ALT+DELETE is pressed.

    Transparent screen locks do not accomplish this.  We want the user's session NOT to be shown, and instead want the logon background to be shown on not just the primary, but all monitors.

    Currently the behavior is that the logon background is only shown on the primary, and the other screen is black.  To make things even odder, the mouse cursor is visible on non-primary screens, but goes invisible on the primary.
