Hi There,

We work in support environment and use dual monitors setup. WIN7 heard to have very good support for such setup and easy to use functionalities. However at some point something which was great has gone troubled.

We can use both the monitors while working on it however just the time its locked it blacks out the second monitor background and screensavers set if any. I tried looking for any config changes but in vain. Looking out for answer to this here.

Thanking you in advance.

There is no built in way to change this functionality. **When locked, one screen will be black.**There may be some 3rd party software that may do this however it would not be supported by  Microsoft.

There was a lot of talk about display drivers et al.. that's not really relevant to bringing this feature back.. now is it.

At home I drive duals.. I recall a large sports apparel place with some Greek goddess for victory used custom logon/lock screens back in XP to provide guidance to their help desk.. rotating those screens quarterly with more sports players and slogans.  We parted ways in 2008, so I don't know if they dialed something in.. Vista was just poking about the network then.  To say it isn't important is simply myopic.  Seems a rather simple option, I'm still at a loss.  I've seen some hacks et al.. but at the office I'm driving four displays.. ;)  Best I got was 2.

Windows 10 at home.. they ask for feedback on their pretty pics.. but only the primary display still.

8.1 at the office (haven't bothered.. yet..).. same.
