my windows 7 toolbar disappeared. how can i restore it?

You mean the Task Bar disappeared, not the *toolbar*?

There are several possibilities for why. Here's the most likely:

The task bar is resizable, like a window. You may have accidentally

resized it to zero lines high. Put the cursor on the bottom of the

screen and move it up and down slightly until it turns into a

double-headed arrow. Then click and drag it to the size you want.

If that doesn't work, it may be zero lines high on another side of the

screen, so try on all four sides.

Finally, if none of those work, go to

You may face this issue due to several reasons:

1. The taskbar may be hiding at the bottom of the screen after being accidentally resized.

Step 2: Press the Windows logo key and the P key on your keyboard to bring up the presentation display mode options.
