my windows 7 toolbar disappeared. how can i restore it?

i can only start things through windows task manager. which f key do i use to access the system restore key. i am away from home and do not have the install disc for windows 7 with me.

You mean the Task Bar disappeared, not the *toolbar*?

There are several possibilities for why. Here's the most likely:

The task bar is resizable, like a window. You may have accidentally

resized it to zero lines high. Put the cursor on the bottom of the

screen and move it up and down slightly until it turns into a

double-headed arrow. Then click and drag it to the size you want.

If that doesn't work, it may be zero lines high on another side of the

screen, so try on all four sides.

Finally, if none of those work, go to

Taskbar, click Taskbar is Missing.

Hello,

As per description, your issue has been resolved, however you are looking for an alternative solutions.

You may face this issue due to several reasons:

The taskbar may be hiding at the bottom of the screen after being accidentally resized.
If the presentation display was changed, the taskbar may have moved off of the visible screen.
The 'explorer.exe' process may have crashed.

I would suggest you to follow the methods given below and check.

Method 1: Follow the steps given below.

Step 1: Put the mouse pointer on the bottom border of your screen.

If the pointer turns into a double-arrow , click and drag upwards.
If your taskbar isn't hiding at the bottom of the screen, try moving the mouse to the right, left, and top edges, looking for the double-arrow.

Step 2: Press the Windows logo key and the P key on your keyboard to bring up the presentation display mode options.

1.Make sure "Computer Only" is selected.
Use the arrow keys to toggle between options and Enter to select the correct display mode.

If issue still persists try method 2.

Method 2: System File Checker.

You may run the system file checker tool and check if it helps. SFC scan will scan for the corrupted system files on the computer. You may refer to the following article in order to use System File Checker tool appropriately.

THIS TIME ,REALLY - REALLY 100% WORK SOLUTION

did someone knews,

that this problem's occur's/happen only in certainly one user administrator account only?

i knew it, because i have 2 user administrator account and one standard user account

and i have tested it repeatedly

and the problem is only occur into certainly user account,normally

not affect into all user

the next clue is: search the last date installed programs that using local settings and remove one by one from control panel add remove programs, just like detective jobs :D

and finally i found my answer for my question

I find that the suggestions given to restore the task bar are just 'get-arounds', and don't really resolve the problem once and for all. If you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7, you can use Windows Aero (Ctrl, Windows, Alt) to activate Windows Aero,which will allow you to select any minimised tasks from the disappeared task-bar. I have only experienced this problem since installing Windows 7. I am using the 64 bit version, but it doesn't seem to matter. Never had the problem on Windows Vista.

TO restore the panel, or Dell Dock. go into control panel, and then power options, there should then be a statement on the next window, change advanced power setting, look down the list below untill you find desktop background setting, below should be slide show, click on it and activate it on 'Battery' mode, it worked for me i think its an inbuilt Dell thing where it turns off when un-plugging it.
