Dont Worry....... Just rightclick on taskbar---->properties----->select Notification Area Tab--------->In system Icon select "volume" ................I hope it will help u........

2015-09-23T22:12:14+00:00 I checked that already and Volume indicator is on. It was always on the taskbar since I downloaded Windows 10 but it suddenly disappeared.

2015-09-24T01:14:12+00:00 This registry trick worked the first time for me but it has never worked again. Windows 10 won't let me enable the icon, if I want to change my volume I have to open the volume controls myself :(
EDIT: The problem eventually went away, and I have NO idea what fixed it.
