My volume control button has dissapeared from the bottom right hand corner of my screen - how can i get it back?

Dont Worry....... Just rightclick on taskbar---->properties----->select Notification Area Tab--------->In system Icon select "volume" ................I hope it will help u........

    With this problem when you  go to the Notification area, the volume box there is greyed out and you can not get it back this way. My plwer box there is also greyed out. Mine happened after a big 26 item update.

    1st Please Reboot so nothing is interferring with this process.

    this did NOT help, I have rebooted and the volume Icon still does not appear in the right taskbar AND when I go to the Notification area....VOLUME is still

    "grayed" out.  Any other suggestions??
