Dont Worry....... Just rightclick on taskbar---->properties----->select Notification Area Tab--------->In system Icon select "volume" ................I hope it will help u........

I've tried this several times..when I get to properties..I do not see a Notification Area Tab.

The taskbar is usually located at the bottom of your screen. It is where you find the Start Orb.
Let us know if this helps.
sorry but i'm new at this stupid question where is the task bar
It wouldn't allow me to click on volume, it was grayed out.
