Change vertical screen back to orginal horizontal

The ability to rotate the screen image is a feature of your video card, to help it work with monitors that rotate to portrait orientation. Almost certainly you accidentally pressed Ctrl-Alt, and

some arrow key.

Rotate it back using those keys.

Thank you for the help.....its was scary in the beginning, but thanks to microsoft help s always on the way...after solving the problem I kind a like it and actually found a solution fro the nosy people we have around,,,my new trick against nosy people, Thank you Microsoft thanks Ken and my fellows community bodies....

How do I change my Lock Screen back to its original image? Somehow I put a photo on my Lock Screen. I have Windows 8.

THANK YOU!! My hand slipped on the notebook, I was using several keys and wasn't paying attention to which ones accidentally were hit....

This morning I got the call from my daughter that monitor went vertical by pressing some key which she does accidentally. I goggle and with your answer by pressing ctrl +alt+ up arrow key it was set right. Big thanks.
