Error Code 1-80004005

Dear MS Support,

I have the same problem stated above. I had to reload FSX and FSX Acceleration on a new PC. FSX installed and the activation had to be completed by the Phone Activation and FSX loaded and ran with no errors. When I installed FSX Acceleration I did not receive the activation screen. When I started FSX program, I received error code 1-80004005, product activation error. I have been reading the MS support forums and articles along with dozens of FSX support sites with no luck.

I am apprehensive of altering or changing my registry since it is a new PC. I tried repairing Acceleration, uninstalling and reinstalling as Administrator, and even used a second FSX and Acceleration program that I purchased as a backup. Still receive the same activation error code. It appears that FSX Acceleration cannot be loaded on a new PC on Windows 10. I have another PC that is only 13 months old with Windows 10 and FSX and Acceleration installed fine with no problems.

Please can someone help me, I have been using MS Flight Simulator since 1983 and it is the only game I play every day. I see 163 people had this problem but only 3 replied as helpful, does this work, or is there another method?

MS FSX and Acceleration will run on Win 10 no problem.

I had it running on my machine for about a year.

Ever time I upgrade my PC which seems to be a constant for this program , I have issues,

This time for whatever reason I can not seem to figure it out.

the problem seems to be somewhere in the hard drive, if you had FSX on that drive and uninstalled it and then try to re-install it , you're going to have a problem.

I knew this going in so I purchased to SSd's one for the O/S and one for the Sim.

I thought this time I would just wipe everything from the H/D to original and then clone the O/S to the new SSD's ?

Nope !!

Same thing the program lets me get to the end of the second FSX disk then gives 2 errors 16**  and 17**   I forgot the last two digits of each error but I don't think it even matters , anyone who is experiencing the issue knows what I am talking about.

I had the windows 8.1 32 bit disk so as a good I tried to load that onto the SSD and then the Sim and it worked no problems , problem is in 32 bit you get OOM errors because 32 bit only see's a fraction of your installed RAM , I have tried everything under the sun, system image this , that and the other thing  . . . . .

I never had anything but the data suggested (and no other data)

Error Code 1-80004005 after reinstalling FSX on Vista. Activation form doesn't load therefore, there's no way to activate it. Observed several discussions on this using Google searches but never found a specific answer. Have tried the FSX installation DVD Repair option but no help there.

I downloaded the software for my printer (an hp deskjet f4180, but something is wrong.  My printer and my computer are not communating.  my printer nor my scanner will work. I need my printer and my scanner.  please help me.
