You will need to upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate for this capability. Only Windows 7 Ultimate includes Multilingual User Interface (Language Pack) support. You can then install the English Language Pack from under Regional and Language settings in Control Panel.

You can do an Anytime Upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate which will preserve your personal files and settings:

    I uninstalled the english language pack by accident because my PC was displaying Italian and I don't know Italian! I have home premium .Is there a way I can do this?

    I join to this critic to Microsoft.

    Microsoft does not allow to change the language in Win 7 Home Premium.

    With this Microsoft indirectly "force" people to have pirat copies and uninstall their original one.

    Hope that there would be a change and Microsoft would enable Home premium users to update languge packs.
