You will need to upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate for this capability. Only Windows 7 Ultimate includes Multilingual User Interface (Language Pack) support. You can then install the English Language Pack from under Regional and Language settings in Control Panel.

You can do an Anytime Upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate which will preserve your personal files and settings:

    I usually enjoy windows with good features and nice user interface. You'll have to excuse my language, but what the f*** is this, 

    I'm so upset that I will have to spend additonally 350 Euro for the what I would call an essential feature. 

    I use to call things like this one word; SCAM, I've spent several houndred of euro to get a good computer with Windows 7 Professional. I repeat it on more time; Professional. And thats right, you can't change your language on this very professional version of windows 7.

    I really hope Microsoft won't continue with these scams. /A former Microsoft fan

    we have the same problem, installed applications are in spanish.. how can this be changed to english?

    i have windows 7 home premium. my laptop's language is now english but the applications running are spanish.

    some of them were mcafee, the built-in anti-virus, vlc, the one i downloaded and manually installed as english but was spanish, and the microsoft office 2010.. well, i cant understand it how to install. how can i change the applications to english? its in spanish
