You will need to upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate for this capability. Only Windows 7 Ultimate includes Multilingual User Interface (Language Pack) support. You can then install the English Language Pack from under Regional and Language settings in Control Panel.

You can do an Anytime Upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate which will preserve your personal files and settings:

    Is that possible to change a languge fom German to English on this type of system Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Edition? Is this the same to Windows 7 Ultimate..or I miss something?

    this is a ____ great business idea !! I am also suffering from the same problem. It´s so disgusting. I bought my laptop at 399 euro, and if i need to change the language, i would have to spend 200 euro. That´s only crazy people do. Microsoft need to bring some updates allowing win 7 users to have MUI free of cost !!
