How to locate and install my flash drive on my computer?

I plug my flash drive into the usb port provided in the front part of my computer but I'm unable to located to look at my content.

Hi,

I would suggest you to check in the BIOS if it is disabled.

Note: Modifying BIOS/complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) settings incorrectly can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from booting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that any problems resulting from the configuring of BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Modifications of the settings are at your own risk.

You can also check the mother board manual to know more about BIOS.

If that doesn’t help, then you need to check the connections in the system tower.

    I can' seem to locate a way to open the usb drive to see the contents and to see if the file I transferred made it.

    whoa, way too technical for me. Just wanted to see where to look so that I can open it and look at what is on it. Windows 10 is way more confusing for me than 7 was. Thanks anyways.
