How to locate and install my flash drive on my computer?

I plug my flash drive into the usb port provided in the front part of my computer but I'm unable to located to look at my content.

Hi,

I would suggest you to check in the BIOS if it is disabled.

Note: Modifying BIOS/complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) settings incorrectly can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from booting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that any problems resulting from the configuring of BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Modifications of the settings are at your own risk.

You can also check the mother board manual to know more about BIOS.

If that doesn’t help, then you need to check the connections in the system tower.

    if you have a USB 3.0 drive look for the Blue port For USB 3.0 Drives

    USB 3.0 drives do NOT work in USB 2.0 ports USB 3.0 ports are BLUE where USB 2.0 ports are BLACK.

    By now you should know that this is not true, so you should stop saying it.  In the post you quoted (from August 6), I wrote, "As I've already explained, USB 3.0 flash drives work just fine in Windows 10 in both 2.0 and 3.0 ports on my computer."  If you have useful information to share, by all means do it, but you should refrain from offering advice when you don't know what you're talking about and refuse to learn.

    My question is easier.  My USB stick is inserted, but I can't find on my computer.  Where do I do to open the USB stick?

    There are USB sticks that are compatable with both types of ports. it has been said that USB 3.0 sticks are only compatable with USB 3.0 ports. YOUR USB sticks must be the compatable type.
