So I have enjoyed playing Backgammon in the past, but nowadays is just IMPOSSIBLE. I am sure many others have noticed this. There are players out there that can control the dice at least for them, and some can even move more chips than the allowed by standard rules.
For example, not 10 minutes ago, I rolled 6 and 5, then the guy doubled me on his first roll, and got double three, then I rolled and I got 4 and 1, then he rolled and got 3 and 1, then I rolled and got 3 and 2, then he rolled and got double 5 eating my lonely chip in position 1 and covering position 3 from position 8. Do you call that a lucky roll? I call that an engineered roll, if you know Backgammon.
Yesterday, a guy moved 6 chips using a double 5. That same guy rolled 4 consecutive pairs.
Yesterday, I had 5 out of 6 positions occupied in my side and I ate one of the other player's chips. I did this repeatedly. The guy just lost 1 roll out of 4 chips I ate. He also had 5 of 6 positions occupied. He ate a chip of mine twice. I had to roll some 10 times before I could get out each time.
If you know Backgammon, you know this is NOT right. Losers out there have found a way to cheat, and that ruins the fun for us, the ones with a brain.
Microsoft, please put an end to this. Your Windows license is expensive, and I paid for it, and I expect to be able to enjoy all the features in the OS, and that includes the included Internet gaming. Roll a patch that can end this blatant cheating!

They can also identify you. How I don't know but they can. They can even block you from pulling up a new game if you **** them off by leaving a game you KNOW your cheated on. If they do that to you just shut down your PC and restart it. That will release their ability to block you, at least until the next time. Some how they have a code or you IP number or something but they can recognize you. They are scum.
Thanks for the tip. I will reboot from now on.

They are scum.
Here is another clue you can tell they are cheating. every die combo is perfect for the move at hand.
Their stones match up perfectly, leaving no chance to boot them. when thy are in a fix, they conveniently come up with the perfect doubles to get them out of a fix.
They can roll doubles 2-3-4 times in a roe and think you don't notice. They often change one of your die numbers if it threatens them. Example: You roll a 3-5 you move the three and go back to move the 5 and now it's a 4.
These people are cowards. They manipulate the game to their advantage and give themselves the credit for winning. They only proved they cant play the game on their own.
You are absolutely right on about the cheating. I sat one whole afternoon and pulled my hair out over this. I started keeping track of rolls, doubles, and percentages. When you play as many games as I did in one day, and only win one...with a real person, who actually resigned and played another game, you know something is up.
For a while there, I couldn't believe what was happening. I just kept saying things about how it seemed I was being forced to move my stones according to what the other player wanted and it was getting crazy. It was then that I found this forum.
If someone gets as nasty as the guy who insulted you, you can bet he's one of the cheaters himself!!!! I am not really familiar with computer players or how that works, but I would prefer to play the computer than a cheater!!!
THIS NEEDS TO STOP. You should see my board go crazy...when they start moving my stuff around!!!
WINDOWS FIX THIS PROBLEM!!!!
It happens all of the time. Some sociopath wrote a program that allows anyone to cheat that wants it.
These people think we are so stupid we cant tell what's up.
I don't waste my time with them any more.
The minute I suspect they are cheating I dump the game.
They know I know what they are up to.
Probably 85% of the people they play dump the game. These are people that are not good at the game and cannot think very fast, so they have to cheat.
