Bluescreen ndis.sys windows 7

I just bought a new laptop hp pavilion dv6-2020ev with windows 7 premium home. Out of  nowhere the computer shuts down and restarts showing the blue screen that says DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and the bottom it says ndis.sys and restart and goes through the process again, again and again...

I could not start safe mode with networking. It does the same thing as above, but I can start in safe mode and here are the problem details.

Hi steve45321,  

Welcome to Microsoft Windows Vista Community site.  

This issue is mainly caused by the driver error which is installed for your LAN CARD / NIC (Network card)

The issue can be resolved by downloading and installing the latest drivers for the NIC from the manufacture’s website.  

Note: You might need to download the latest drivers in a different computer and install it in the computer where the issue is present, and you must boot to desktop with Safe Mode Option and install the latest drivers for the NIC

    Hi auggy,

    could you please check my screen and files as well?

    The Blue screen of death occurred today after I accepted an invitation from ZoneAlarm firewall to upgrade, then after installation completed and pc restarted a BSOD appeared and repeats each time I run Win7 in normal mode or in safe mode with internet.

    ZoneAlarm installed "zone alarm free firewall" on my pc.

    So far I've tried Restoration point (it haven't been able to finish the procedure)

    then I uninstalled "zone alarm free firewall" - didn't work

    also tried downgrade and upgrade of NIC (Realtek RTL8168D/8111D Family PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.20)) - also didn't work

    (some info here is in Czech but I suppose in this case it won't be the obstacle)

    Hey cap, I would suggest that you start a new thread and post your mini dump files for someone to analyze. This thread is pretty old.

    Can someone help me with this too my computer is having almost these exact problems ill be happy to put the mini dump on a filesharing site as well
