I have been been getting random windows explorer crashes. I am on windows 7 64 bit version. Here are my most recent event error logs from the past day:

The crashes do not stall my system its just that the pop up window shows up saying I have restart windows explorer again. I'm wondering if its a program I installed or something else. I do not want to reinstall windows 7 in order to fix this problem. Any help is appreciated. Please let me know if more information is required. Thank you.

Continual Windows Explorer crashes. Depending on my activity, how many windows/programs I was opening and closing as often as every few minutes.
For me, it was the Trend Micro Internet Security Suite. I took that out, life is good again and my new computer is finally performing as I expected it would.
A pity, I've been with them since they were PCCillin.
I don't think you quite understand. Windows 7 has some major stability issues. I have a clean install of Win7 with very few applications installed and, like many others, I'm experiencing frequent and unreasonable crashes.
Am I to take it that any badly written 3rd party program has the power to cause havok across the entire Win7 OS? When those exact same programs ran perfectly on WinXP and caused no issues?
If so, that is a bad reflection on Win7, i think.
Windows Explorer is stopping all the time for me not just randomly. I have tried Clean Boot. No luck it still happens. Tried installing mpr.dll with command prompt ( REN and COPY ) will not allow. Shellexview will not disable anything. Tried Registry Mechanic, this solved it until I rebooted. It appears to be a registry problem with ntdll.dll. System Restore doesn't fix it. I can't run Config sys or Cmd in the Search box as this also causes it to stop working. I can run these in Task Manager but stopping all programs from starting in Msconfig does not work either. I don't want to reinstall Windows as it is such a pain and according to other sites it does not solve this problem. Microsoft please help.
Thanks for the reply fmteng. I'll probably have to format and install windows 7 64 bit again and run for a few days with nothing installed to make sure its not a windows update causing my problem. Then I'll have to install one app at a time to see what will happen.
I got Adobe Reader removed and the problem went away.
