bubbles screen saver very fast after sitting for sometime

i have set my screen saver to bubbles, after approx an hour or so the bubbles on the screen are whizzing by very very fast. no other issues with screen saver. system recovers after mouse wiggle or key press. havent tried any other saver.

dx up to date, vid drivers up to date

running W7 64 bit

duel vid cards gtx275 sli

duel monitors

Would have been helpful if ednlible told us.

I did some 2min research and found this site Here . This "mod" doesnt really change the settings for the speed but it does allow you to tweak some other stuff for the bubbles screensaver. Just have a mess with some of the settings and see how things go from there. Sorry if this sounds vague but its all i can think up of right now - better than nothing i guess. M$ really does need to fix this, theyve nothing for ages now :(

    I just experienced the same bullet fast bubbles screen saver with Vista 64 bit.  It's odd.

    Well guys I'm having the problem on both my dual screen scomputer and my laptop but I'm wondering if that's not a problem with graphic drivers. This wasn't happening before I updated them.

    I am using a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285 on the dual screen computer (Driver Version: 8.17.0011.9621)

    And a NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250M (Driver File Version: 8.17.0011.9716)

    I suggest that people affected by this issue report their DxDiag report to see if there's a common link between us.

    I tried the tweaking  of the screensavers and although I like the effect on the Mystify and the Ribbons, I still have yet to find a fix for my very few and very slowwwww bubbles  saver. What is weird is my daughter almost has the same exact laptop as me running the same apps as me (she's a mini-me :o) yet, her bubbles screensaver behaves the way it should. As does my gaming desktop computer. Just my sad BRAND NEW laptop refuses to run the screensaver the way it should run.

    I really hate bugs in operating systems...I guess that's the other reason it drives me completely bat crazy. Even when I DO NOT use a feature, if it has a bug you can guarantee I am all over the web looking for a solution. So many wasted hours...hmm sad really.
