bubbles screen saver very fast after sitting for sometime

i have set my screen saver to bubbles, after approx an hour or so the bubbles on the screen are whizzing by very very fast. no other issues with screen saver. system recovers after mouse wiggle or key press. havent tried any other saver.

dx up to date, vid drivers up to date

running W7 64 bit

duel vid cards gtx275 sli

duel monitors

Windows for home | Previous Windows versions | Windows update

Would have been helpful if ednlible told us.

I did some 2min research and found this site Here . This "mod" doesnt really change the settings for the speed but it does allow you to tweak some other stuff for the bubbles screensaver. Just have a mess with some of the settings and see how things go from there. Sorry if this sounds vague but its all i can think up of right now - better than nothing i guess. M$ really does need to fix this, theyve nothing for ages now :(

    Same issue for me.  The bubbles screensaver races very very fast.  I'm also running Windows 7 64 bit - is this the issue?.  Only needs normal two minutes setting for this to happen. Works ok in preview.  Haven't yet tried an alternative screensaver.

    i have switched screen savers and reverted back. still same issue. as a side note, i am running 2 monitors on an extended desk-top

    Honestly thats so random, ive never herd of such an issue before.

    Personally the only thing i can think of is a Windows 7 repair - but thats me, ive never heard of this issue so i wouldnt know of a definite fix.

    I hope somebody else can help you out here :/

    So is the problem that the bubbles on the screen saver are moving too quickly?

    If that is the case then just set the screen saver to something else that you prefer. Thats all i can think of

    Try: Setting the screen saver to something else. Click Apply

    Then change it back to Bubbles and Click Apply. That might cure the problem.

    Hope that helped sort of
