Windows 7 is Blurry/Fuzzy for me...

I love it, dont get me wrong but ahhh i wanna continue to use it...but it all just seems fuzzy and i've tried everything from Changing the DPI, to resolutions to clear type text, to screen refresh rates, nothing...just nothing makes it seem crisp like it was when i was using vista. i have a 17 inch screen. LCD flat panel. on vista i use to use 1024x768 but its way to blurry and large on windows 7. Im using a Radeon hd 4350...so i thought maybe its the driver. Updated it. still nothing. Blurry and fuzzy. It can be tough on the eyes so im just about ready to go back to vista. If anyone can help, that would be great. Windows 7 is great and i really want to continue to use it. Thank you.

You can try updating your video card driver by visiting the manufacturers website and downloading it from there rather than using the Update Driver function in the Device Manger, as that will only update to a driver from Microsoft.

Also, most LCD monitors have a native resolution that if set to a different resolution will make the view distorted and blurry like your describing. I suspect that it's 1024x768 for the 17" monitor, as it worked in Vista that way and works in Windows 7 that way.

I have same almost similar issue with windows 7.

I have Geforce Asus series 8800 GTS graphic card, works fine with vista and xp, native resolution is 1680 by 1050 60 Hertz, and its alright in my point of view, but as i install win 7 with all the drivers and stuff i only get 1680 by 1050 and 59 hertz, it won't let me keep the 60 hertz some how..

could it be the win 7 issue or still incompatitibilty driver issue??

if this will not solved by the release date of seven, i'l not gonna go over from vista to 7 ever, my eyes are quite important to me!

I with you on that Kristenson i went back to windows Vista cause it was just to ridiculous for my eyes....hopefully it will get fixed

Ok, i had a little test done just now, and as result, i found out that by using 22 inch monitor with 1680 by 1050 resolution gives poor refresh rate right..

i did get an new monitor , just 19 inch one and now im using native resolution 1280 x 1024 with 75 Hertz refresh rate and boy is win 7 nice or what:)))

everyone!! change your monitors if you wish to use windows 7 nicely with nicest clear type etc. ;)

problem somewhere else then, i dont care anymore, im stayin with 19 inch monitor for now.
