Windows 7 is Blurry/Fuzzy for me...

I love it, dont get me wrong but ahhh i wanna continue to use it...but it all just seems fuzzy and i've tried everything from Changing the DPI, to resolutions to clear type text, to screen refresh rates, nothing...just nothing makes it seem crisp like it was when i was using vista. i have a 17 inch screen. LCD flat panel. on vista i use to use 1024x768 but its way to blurry and large on windows 7. Im using a Radeon hd 4350...so i thought maybe its the driver. Updated it. still nothing. Blurry and fuzzy. It can be tough on the eyes so im just about ready to go back to vista. If anyone can help, that would be great. Windows 7 is great and i really want to continue to use it. Thank you.

You can try updating your video card driver by visiting the manufacturers website and downloading it from there rather than using the Update Driver function in the Device Manger, as that will only update to a driver from Microsoft.

Also, most LCD monitors have a native resolution that if set to a different resolution will make the view distorted and blurry like your describing. I suspect that it's 1024x768 for the 17" monitor, as it worked in Vista that way and works in Windows 7 that way.

    Ok I may have a fix.  My problem much the same as most above.  I have Win 7 X64 with nvidia Quadro card and HP L2045W lcd monitor with native res of 1680x1050 connected by VGA cable.  Everything was working fine then suddenly windows / nvidia didn't recognise my monitor as HP reset it back to Generic Non PNP and changed the resolution down which made it quite blurry.  Spent all of yesterday trying everything including the add resolutions proposed above.  I installed latest drivers for nvidia and the monitor but made no difference at all.  The fix for me was simple.  I unplugged the VGA cable and then opened the nvidia Control panel (this only displayed the laptop display as expected) and then plugged the cable back in.  The screen went blank for a second and then the nvida control panel popped back up now showing the eternal monitor as HP L2045W and set to it's native resolution.  I can't believe it was this simple.  BTW I had already tried unplugging the cable and restarting and plugging back in but this didn't work.  It would seem having the nvida control panel open at the time was necessary.  With any luck this would also work with the win 7 display resolution screen in much the same way.  Help this helps.

    I just upgraded to a Win 7, NVidia machine from an XP. I had the FUZZY TEXT SYNDROME. I solved it by changing my VGA cord to a DVI cord into my monitor.  That was the cure.  $21 bucks.

    Same here. Win 7 x86, nVidia 8500GT. Latest drivers (although I tried all other version of the drivers). Even tried different nvidia 8500GT card. Avi playback blurs all the time. Its like picture going into focus and out of focus all the time. Both on my monitor and HDMI connected fullHD LCD TV. Not to mention stutter, especially with HD playback when Aero is turned on. I've pretty much tried every media player and video decoders and its always the same. Pretty sure its the drivers.
