Hello, somehow I have managed to disable the shortcuts for cutting and pasting. I can only do it manually through the menu bar. I cannot Ctrl C or Ctrl V anymore - nothing happens! What have I done? Please help.

Annoying problem if you rely 100% on keyboard shortcuts! I had the same problem and the fix is very easy. You will need to uninstall your keyboard driver and restart your computer and your CTRL keys will function once again. To do this:
1) Click Start
2) Control Panel
3) Printers and Other Hardware
4) Keyboard
5) In the Keyboard Properties window, click Hardware
6) Click Properties
7) Click Driver
8) Click Uninstall, click OK
9) Restart your Computer

Is this only happening in Microsoft Word or does this also occur in other programs like 'Notepad"? I went to Microsoft Word support and am showing commands listed below. Again, if only happening within Word, I would suggest going to site listed.

Press Shift 5 times, you will get a window, in it select Go to the Ease of Access Center... option, In the options uncheck the options Turn on sticky keys, Turn on Sticky keys when SHIFT... then Apply> OK

I have been having this problem for about seven or eight months now. I was trying all sorts of things> I updated my drivers. Uninstalled my drivers. Reinstalled drivers and just hit CTRL+V seven thousand times. Nothing would work no matter what I tried.
I was sitting in my computer chair frustrated with my feet up on my desk. I Restarted my computer so I tried one more time to click CTRL+V. It worked! It turns out my foot was on the shift key while I hit CTRL+V! So now all I have to do is hit CTRL+Shift+V
to paste! Hope this Helps! :D

Hey I've also been frustrated with being unable to Ctrl C or Ctrl V on "all applications" in my "Windows 10 Pro" for months, and now having seen your reply, I realised too that I have to press Ctrl+Shift+C or Ctrl+Shift+V in order to Copy or Paste. But it is so difficult to press with the Shift. Anyone know if there's a way to reverse it back to Ctrl C or Ctrl V? If I have to press Ctrl+Shift+C or Ctrl+Shift+V, I'd rather use the mouse to Copy or Paste.
Did not work for me with Windows 10
Did not work for me either on my Windows 10 Pro. After doing Device Manager>Keyboard>Driver>Uninstall and restart PC, still cannot Ctrl C or Ctrl V on all applications.
