My taskbar is missing when i use Internet Explorer

Am I crazy, or did my task bar disappear?  When I am looking at my desktop I have a task bar... and I could have sworn that for the last couple months (since installing Vista) I had a task bar visable when I was in Internet Explorer.  ("You don't know what you got til its gone."  :-P) Only problem is, NOW when I'm in Internet Explorer, I DON'T have a task bar.  I NOW have to navigate between programs by using the ALT+TAB.  I don't know of anything else that has changed on this computer. 

Any ideas on how to get the task bar up an running for while I'm in Internet

Explorer?

Hello,

It sounds like you may have accidentally enabled Internet Explorer's kiosk mode. Press the F11 key inside of internet explorer, and see if that fixes the problem.

    I also had same issue. After searching Google for about 3 to 4 hours i came across one website which solved my problem. You can find step by step guide with explanation:

    Thank you very much for making the effort to send me that info.

    I feel sure that will 'solve' the 'mystery' ... i.e. " The case of the vanishing taskbar "

    I've been managing without it meantime, but will try to rectify the situation soon.

    I'll keep you (and the others) posted re progress.
