You can associate all CRD files with cardfile.exe. Then make a shortcut to any of your CRD files and the shortcut will auto-launch cardfile.exe and open your clicked CRD file in it.

How do you associate CRD files with cardfile.exe? Easy. Right click any of your CRD files, select Properties. On the General tab, there is an item labeled: "Opens with:". There is a "CHANGE" button to the right of that which, when clicked, takes you to a list of applications from which you can choose. You can have your system open CRD files with whatever application you choose but CRD files are native to cardfile.exe so that would be your best choice.

hope this helps.

The problem is not the system - xp,7, or 10.

It works fine with anything thru 32 bit. 64 bit is the problem.

Easy solution is print your CRD to text and then use notebook to use all the data that you have accumulated.

No great but at least you can keep your old data on your 64 bit system.

Thank you but unfortunately, I cannot get my cardfile.exe to even open.    I assume?  ... that  this program is not functional in Win10.

I suggest you a cardfile that works great on Windows 10: EviEdit from Jean-Paul Doeraene: http://eviedit.software.informer.com/

I am still looking for an application for Android phone 100% compatible.  For now I use: http://pnewman.com/rdex/ to import de cardfile from EviEdit to export it to Android phone.

I used to be a CARDFILE fanatical user until I was told by a friend of mine to download and try an application called azzCardfile which you can locate by searching the web.  After the trial period  if you choose to keep it it costs $19. which in my opinion is "highly" worth it. Give it a "try" for free and see how it works. Best of all, it automatically "imports" the cardfile.crd files so the whole thing is a breeze. I may sound like a salesman here but let me assure you I have nothing to do with the programmers, whoever they are.
