UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK since we've got the ball rolling here, I am editing this to better reflect what is going on. The below links are just a few out of hundreds of post you will find on the internet about this Aero Lag. Some offer workarounds and some don't. I just Googled Aero Lag and this was from the first page.

If you have the same problem, please provide:

What type of graphics card you have.
What kind of drivers are you using (Win7 preinstalled or manufacturer's drivers)
Was your version of Win7 an update or clean install.
What motherboard you have.

From the sounds of it, Microsoft is looking for a fix.

I also ask for a forum admin to make this a sticky as many people are experiencing this problem.

**Have solved my problem withAeor lag.**Reinstall Windows 7 U64 twice with new/old driver.

Replaced Gforce 8800GTX with Gforce GTX480.

Have spent many days on this problem without a solution.

But here is a very simple solution that works for me.

I removed the USB extension cablefor my CreativeHS-1200WirelessUSB Gaming Headset.

Aero lags when Iused USB extension cable and headset charging.

Without USB extension cable, everything is fine.

So it think itis a voltagedrop in the USB extension cable,causes the system to lag. ?

Hello Kevin Hau, my questions are:

Is the stutter a bug or not?

Will this stutter stay or not?

Does the developer team know this issue?

Thank you for any information you can give us.

I tested magnify.exe, these are my results: The magnifier seems to remove the close lag in real time. The magnifier has no effect on the stutters in slow motion and there seems to be no effect on the open stutter / open snap in effect. And the magnifier has no effect anymore after reboot.

It would be great to get more informations, because this seems to become an endless discussion without a solution...

The magnification application is not a fix. It seems everyone would rather turn stuff off, run maginification.exe to temporarly fix the problem, well it's still there...and that needs to be resolved the correct way. Also, for those who say they "DON"T" have this issue....I'm sorry to break it to you, but you are experiencing the same issue we are....you eyes just don't see it. What are the chances that I've tested over 100 computers and they all do the exact same thing, and your's doesn't? It's there..you just don't see it.

For the MSFT people all we ask is you keep us informed of what is going on....If this is even going to be fix? Are we going to see a change by SP1? All we have heard from you is that you peek your head in the forum from time to time, no updates nothing... Thanks!

Well the problem still is existant, it is just "hidden" with the magnifer. As I said above, I was mistaken this was the problem I had so I can't really confirm this "quick fix." But if you want me to rename the name of this topic to something along the line of "HEY MICROSOFT!!! WTF ARE YOU DOING ABOUT THIS!?!?! THE PROBLEM STILL EXIST AND YOUR NOT DOING ANYTHING ABOUT IT!!! WTF!??!!?", just let me know so I can edit it.
