I receive Aero Lag when opening and closing windows in Windows 7

...however, it is visible now whereas it was not before.  But that is supposed to happen though isn't it because of the modification of the registry?

It is there regardless of the registry change.  I notice the stutter even before I know the slow motion trick.

I've gone to my local Best Buy and tested this and it seems all the systems have the open/close areo lag.  It doesn't matter what hardware you have its there...  We can all come to the same conclusion that this is a Microsoft Windows 7 issue.  It's pointless to post your system specs because almost everyone that has posted here has different hardware setups...and in which still have the areo lag issue.  It's sad that Microsoft released Windows 7 with this flaw, seems someone dropped the ball or feel asleep at the keyboard hehe...

That's what I posted from the beginning, as well as in my own post. That's exactly what I did. I went to Best Buy and tried each and every system on display that had Windows 7 and they ALL have that lag/stutter on window open/close.

I'd really love Microsoft to fix this.

I was in a computer shop and I tested Windows 7 on a notebook with Dualcore CPU, 4 GB RAM and a ATI Card with its own non-shared VRAM, so the notebook was not slow. The result: The opening/close lag is there. And it's exactly the same as on my desktop PC at home, the opening stutter was always there, the close lag was nearly always there. Rarely, the close lag seems to be skipped, because the close animation was "too" fast.

Intel, ATI, nvidia, it doesn't matter. The opening/close lag is there! And until I see a Windows 7 without opening/close stutter, I actually think, that there is not one single Windows 7 sytem around the world without this lag. I believe, that a lot of users just don't recognize the lag.

I think, everybody will see the Aero lag with the slow motion trick. I see no Aero lag in slow motion besides the open/close lag. I see consequentially no Aero lag in real time, but the open/close lag. And so, I think, that when you see the Aero lag in slow motion, the lag is generally also there in real time. Once again: Vista has no open/close Aero lag. Not in real time, not in slow motion, not while opening windows, not while closing windows.
