Click on START, Control Panel, Programs, Programs and Features

On the left hand side there is an option that says, "Turn Windows features on or off"  click that.

Click the plus sign next to Games, and you should see FreeCell there with no check mark next to it.  Click it so there IS a check mark.  Hit Ok, and it should reinstall.

Try unchecking it.  Saying Ok to everything and getting out of it.  Then go back in.  Check it, and see if it installs properly.

Keep in mind, if you are on a work PC, it is possible that your employer has stripped Freecell (And other games) from the PC.  They can do this through Group Policy Security settings among other methods.  Regardless if you try and install it again won't matter as the settings will keep it from installing, working, running.

However, if it is a home based PC, you should be able to uncheck and then get out, and then go back in and recheck it.  And it should install.  If not, you may have a more serious problem.

I always worry about updates. At least if I tell it to wait and ask me what to do, I will have some idea what is going on. And when there are updates for Windows, often there will be tens of thousands of changes. I don't see any reason to assume they got all of those right

When I clicked on "Turn Windows features on or off", GAMES was not listed. How can I get all of my installed Microsoft  games back, which were lost when I upgraded to windows 10?
