Windows Live Mail error: "One or more of the pictures in this message could not be found. When you send this message these pictures will not be included. Are you sure you want to send this message?"

I think this problem started with the new Windows Live Mail update a few days ago.  Everytime my wife tries to forward one of her emails with a picture of some sort or another Mail comes back with the message

 "One or more of the pictures in this message could not be found.  When you send this message these pictures will not be included.  Are you sure you want to send this message?"

If you answer Yes WLM does send the email and the picture(s) are there but convoluted.  Is there some setting I need to change to get back to the "old" WLM.

    This is the way to go. Use Outlook as an alternate email system on your machine anytime you need to send a photo that won't pick up in Live Mail--works every time and much less bother than saving photos and attaching.

    Your suggestion does not work if you receive an email with photos in WLM and want to forward this on.

    Perhaps if you receive an email with photos in Outlook.com and want to forward that on maybe that would work, but, in my humble opinion, that email program is even worse than WLM.

    The Outlook you mention is it a free program?

    I looked on Microsoft and it says one month free trial.

    If you have a Link to the one you are meaning for a free program that would be good.

    I tried and tried, for 3 HOURS!! Eventually I sent the mail, with photos attached, in Gmail. It then appeared in the sent items in Windows Live.
