How do I disable Windows 7 Magnifier all together? It have the check box unchecked for starting at startup but my mouse button still starts it. I use to use that button for something else and Windows will not let me map it to the other application.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi wil2liv,

Thank you for using the Answers forum,

Give this a try:

Click on the Start button

All Programs

Accessories

Ease of Access Center

Then click on 'Make the computer easier to use' near the bottom.

Then unchecked 'Turn On Magnifier'. Hit OK and you're done.

Let us know if this helps,

WOODY - did you get this resolved? You said you couldn't find the magnifier? When you go to Start/All Programs/ then click on the Accessories file. There should be a drop down or expansion of files right below Accessories. Click on the Ease of Access Folder

    • that will will also expand below it then then choose the  ease of access center folder. A box should pop up - in the center of the box there are 4 apps inside a white band.   Magnifier is one of them. Click it to open and follow instructions from there. Then restart your pc to see if it took

Of course, it's just my opinion....I could be wrong!
